  • Vecihi HÜRKUŞ ( 1896 – 1969 )

    Vecihi HÜRKUŞ, one of the most important names in Turkish aviation history, is Turkey's first aircraft designer and manufacturer.











  • Edibe SUBAŞI ( 1920 – 2011)

    She is Turkey's first female aerobatic pilot. Being one of the first Turkish female pilots, Edibe SUBAŞI is one of the four female pilots trained by Sabiha GÖKÇEN.






  • Yıldız ERUÇMAN (1919 - )

    Having the title of the first female aviator in Turkey to jump with a parachute, Yıldız ERUÇMAN is among the four female pilots by Sabiha GÖKÇEN.










  • Sahavat KARAPAS

    Being one of the first Turkish female pilots, Sahavat KARAPAS is one of the four female pilots trained by Sabiha GÖKÇEN.













  • Nezihe VİRANYALI (1925 - 2004)

    Being one of the first Turkish female pilots, Nezihe VIRANYALI is the last of the four female pilots trained by Sabiha GÖKÇEN. She has trained hundreds of students in Türkkuşu Schools.










  • Emrullah Ali YILDIZ

    Emrullah Ali YILDIZ, who produced his own sailing wing, broke the world record by staying 18 hours and 35 minutes with his glider. He has trained hundreds of students in Türkkuşu. He proposed to his wife, Sıdıka YILDIZ, who was a student at Türkkuşu at the time, in the air during a control flight.
